My wife went to Cherish at ALM and is certainly on fire for God she has come back renewed and strengthened. she takes no rubbish anymore from people with rotten theology or opinions. She has grown so much over the last 2 weeks and I see a big change in her she has grown more confident and a real blessing to be about. Hallelujah!!
I have been away for a couple of days doing some work and then returned last night to preach at a church in Motherwell. I really enjoyed it this morning with a nice friendly bunch who have a lot of potential. I enjoyed preaching from 1 Kings 19, Galatians 3 and Luke 8 - God revealed so much to me that I had not seen or thought about before. Our God is an awesome God who uses people like me to serve His Church. Love it.
I am going to have a bit of a rant now with regard to facebook and people using it to publish other peoples view points without having their own. One particular person always writes what someone else is saying/doing/did say/believes etc. They never however, put their own thoughts down they obviously agree with what the person they are reading/listening to but they always quote them verbatum and very rarely put anything in their own words if it were an essay it would be plagerism so please be original and not predictable on facebook.
My family are all well and doing great. Looking forward and praying for a holiday soon but nothing planned we have an idea of where we want to go but praying and saving tomake it a reality. #4 daughter is 5 in 2 weeks and #1 boy is 3 in 2 months to the day.
Football and looking forward to getting back to it which will be in the next 2 weeks when we all get back together again and go for Div 2 plus at least 2 cups. World Cup and what a dissapointment looking forward to Brazil tonight and hopefully a good game of football. Can anybody answer the question why do we have to listen to things about England during every half time, full time and highlight programme? No wonder no one wants them to win it!!
