We have a new car which really was a blessing from heaven. We have prayed for a seven seater for a number of months now and 2 weeks ago that prayer was answered.
I have also been blessed indirectly through my wife going to Cherish at ALM with Charlotte Gambil, Lisa Bevere and Marie De Jong. They have certainly inspired her and given her a goal and ambition as to what she sees herself doing. In turn this has inspired me as well and I love it.
ALM is one of those places where you go to reignite that fire/passion for God that can suddenly become a smouldering emba when all you do is work for a church and when you aren't doing that you are attending one. When you go to ALM you see the passion, the hard work, the vision and how God is working in ordinary peoples lives because he is at the centre of theirs - No religious rubbish, no rules and regulations except for Gods and oh what a difference it makes. They let God work through them rather than letting the rules run the show. The spirit is allowed to flow and do its work. Awesome and I will be going in November to the mens conference and hopefully I will get out of Xcel what my wife has got out of.
Next major decision is whether to get a.......... or not the wife says I can but not sure if she means it?? Decisions, decisions.
As for football I will not be supporting England and would really love to see Brazil win it again for the 6th time. In all honesty as long as football wins and not England I will be happy. It has to be better than 2006. Favourite world cup moment was when the Brazil team that won in Japan by beating |Germany 2 nil in the final and they all prayed as one Awesome!!
St. Andrew's are getting ready to start pre season in a few weeks and we still have the same team as last year all bar 1 which is great news another couple of additions to the squad and we will be ready to take on Div 2 next season.
Blessings to all who read.
