CHERISH 2009

I'm just back from the Cherish Conference at Abundant Life Church in Bradford and it was fantastic, on many levels.  I love the extent of hospitality at the ALC.  Folks are always so welcoming and the facilities and surroundings are so comfortable and relaxing.  Teaching was wonderful, from Charlotte Gambill, Christine Caine and Di Wilson and the whole weekend was simply divine.  Can't wait until next year!! 

'Heroes' @ ALC

So the men are at Abundant Life Church in Bradford for the Xcel Conference - 'Heroes'.  Hubby phoned tonight during the worship to let me hear one of my most favourite songs live, 'Saviour King' - how awesome a song it is and the music teams at ALC are fantastic. 

Us girls are having a weekend away too with some R&R at a nice hotel ... bliss!

It's great to be back online and since I've had a couple of weeks with lots of thinking and discussion about children at risk, I'm looking forward to some lighter discussions this weekend.  A topic high on the agenda this week has been the plight of Africa's 'witch children', and rather than me writing any more you can check out what a fellow pastor has written here.  Please, please consider signing the petition or doing something to help rescue and support these children.

Hosanna, hosanna, hosanna in the highest ...

Cherish 2008 - awesome!  It's unlike any other women's conference or experience.  Everything was total excellence.  Too much to say other than simply awesome!!!   Book now for Cherish 2009 ... to be continued! 

Met up with Bruce, which was nice even though it was a flying visit amidst the conference sessions.

The song that will always remind me of this conference and the 2000 women worshiping and committing together to make a difference in this world - here in the UK and overseas - is the song Hosanna from Hillsong.  Simply awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  Thank you Lord - you are amazing!
